WaterWay’s Eco-therapy program just launched a new designed to help you better understand the origins of your trauma while teaching you skills and practices that will enable you to develop a more fulfilling relationship with yourself, others and the natural world.


WaterWays Eco-therapy program approach:

While the content of the work is quite serious, WaterWays take a “playful” approach to exploration and healing, thus enabling participant’s psyche to begin its association with some levity. This approach also comes from experience.  I've spent the last 15 years addressing trauma with clients and the more someone processes their trauma, the more the playful side of that person emerges. So we start with the end in mind.



The first of three programs of the WaterWays Eco-therapy Program is:

  1. Dawning Awareness

Through a combination of guided meditations and body work, earth based practices, and group processing, participants will explore topics such as:

  • The power of attuning to body wisdom to improving your mental health   

  • The efficacy of re-connective daily practices to manage stress    

  • The freedom of experiencing the Divine through nature 

    • Gain an understanding of the principles and practices of deepening awareness

    • Develop skills for self-reflection and mindfulness

    • Explore the role of ritual and symbolism in personal growth

    • Learn how to connect more deeply with nature

    • Integrate the teachings of the course into daily life

    • Zoom online group learning

    • Weekly video lessons and readings

    • Interactive exercises and journaling prompts

    • Group processing forums

    • Live Q&A sessions with the instructor

    • Increased self-awareness and understanding

    • Enhanced emotional regulation and resilience

    • Deeper connection to self, others, and nature

    • Greater sense of purpose and meaning in life

    • Tools and practices for ongoing personal growth

Who: People willing to make some noise, move their bodies, get outside and engage honest and difficult emotions.

Jeffrey Batstone EdD LMHC lives in Bremerton WA under tall trees close to the Salish Sea where the Olympic Mountain Range lines the western sky.  He makes his home with is wife and their three children along with the animals and plants that keep their company.  He works to guide individuals, couples, groups, and organizations from the relational patterns that contribute to our western culture’s dis-ease, towards the rooted integrity of our inherent Earthly belonging.  He is a psychotherapist in private practice for the past two decades and partners in non-profit, religious, educational and public sectors.
